We’re pleased to share that we’re launching a new HR, Payroll, and Workforce Management (WFM) system called WorkBee.
Powered by Dayforce, WorkBee. will replace Access and bring everything into one easy to use place - from viewing your payslips and updating your personal details to checking your schedule, recording time (where applicable), and requesting leave.
We chose the name WorkBee. because, like a hive, it’s built on connection, collaboration and shared purpose. By bringing everything together in one place and using smart automation to handle everyday tasks, WorkBee. makes work simpler - giving you greater visibility, control and access anytime, anywhere!

What is WorkBee?
WorkBee. is our new digital gateway for everything related to your employment. It is powered by Dayforce, a leading HR and Payroll platform. It replaces SelectHR and SelectPay and our manual google forms.
When does it go live?
We are targeting to "go live" in April. Until then, please continue using our current systems for pay, leave, and personal updates.
Will I use it on my phone?
Yes! One of the best features of WorkBee. is the Dayforce mobile app on Android and iOS. You’ll be able to check your details, view payslips, and request leave directly from your smartphone.
Can I still see my old payslips?
We recommend downloading your historical payslips from the current system before April. Once we move to WorkBee, your new payslips from April onwards will be stored there securely.
What happens to my holidays?
Don't worry, any leave already approved in our current system will be migrated over to WorkBee. automatically. You won't have to re-request your time off.
How do I record my hours?
If your role requires your hours to be recorded as part of time and attendance, your will now do this via WorkBee. (either through the app or a web browser). Specific training for ‘Time & Attendance’ will be provided to relevant staff/managers. The change champion(s) from your business will be able to provide you with more detail on this in due course.
Is my data safe?
Absolutely. WorkBee. (via Dayforce) uses enterprise-grade security and encryption. It is much more secure than sending personal details or bank changes via email or Google Forms.
How do I log in the first time?
In April, you will receive an automated "Welcome to WorkBee." email with your unique login credentials and a link to the hive.
What if I find it hard to use?

As a manager, while the system makes processes easier, we know you’ll have specific questions about how it changes your daily workflow.
Team Management & Approvals
How do I approve holiday requests? All leave requests will now appear in your WorkBee. dashboard and mobile app. You can approve or decline them with one click. The system will automatically show you ‘clash alerts’ if too many people from your team are requesting the same dates.
Will I be notified when an employee submits a request? Yes. You can configure WorkBee. to send you email notifications or mobile push notifications so you can act on requests promptly without needing to ’check’ the system constantly.
Performance & Visibility
Can I see my team’s personal details? You will have a ’Manager View’ where you can see essential work information (job titles, start dates, work contact info). Sensitive data like bank details remain restricted to HR and the individual employee for security purposes.
How do I handle ‘Time & Attendance’ for my team? Your team members are required to record their hours daily in real time. As their manager, you are responsible for reviewing and approving their timesheets each week. WorkBee. uses a clear red and green status system to indicate what has been processed, making it easy to identify errors or spot any missing entries before payroll is finalised.
If you are not required to record all hours for your team and a member of your team is absent as the manager you will be required to record their absence through a 'Time Away From Work' Form. By submitting a Time Away from Work form, this will update your employees timesheet - ensuring that the information feeds across Payroll.
Supporting Your Team
What if a team member forgets their password? WorkBee. features a ‘Self-Service Password Reset’. Please encourage your team to use this first. If they still can't get in, you can escalate the issue to WorkBee. Support (workbee@support-services.com).
Will I get training on the manager-specific functions? Yes. In addition to the general staff training, we are hosting Manager Deep-Dive Sessions. These will focus on:
Approving leave and timesheets.
Managing team schedules.
Using the reporting tools to track absence patterns.
Transition & Policy
What happens to my team’s historical data? We are handling the migration of all current employee records. Your team’s tenure, current salary, and approved leave will all be pre-loaded into WorkBee. before go-live.
Does WorkBee.change our HR policies? No. WorkBee. is a tool to make following our policies easier. For example, our ‘Absence Policy’ remains the same, but you will now record the Return-to-Work (RTW) meeting directly in the system instead of using a google form.
