Scheduling
For our catering managers and site leads, finalising your team's schedules will be a regular weekly task for you to complete.
Then, once finalised, you must send the schedule to your manager for approval, and once approved, you must post the schedule for your staff to see it.
Let's get started by watching our video tutorial:

Now try it yourself with our interactive guide to scheduling! Click the begin button below to get started.
Once you've finalised the schedule, you must click the request button to send to your manager for approval. Then, once approved by your manager, this will turn into a post button - you must click this to post the schedule for your staff to see.
Your staff will be able to see posted schedules in their calendar section on their own WorkBee accounts, and they'll also be notified by email when schedules are posted (and by app notification if they have the Dayforce app installed and signed in). This offers greater visibility for your team and the ability to raise any working time queries.
Following your manager's approval, it may take a few minutes for the post button to show on your scheduling page - just refresh your page or log out / log back in to see if this makes it appear.
Alternatively, simply keep an eye out for the email saying the schedule is approved, and then log in and post the schedule.
Around the time of payroll cut-off, there may be a short period where you are unable to post schedules. This is because we need to temporarily "lock" some of the data in the system to calculate people's pay and generate payslips etc.
This period is usually no longer than a few hours, so if you know a schedule has been approved, but you can't see the "Post" button, simply come back later and try again.
Once a schedule has been posted, the posted schedule will then become visible on the timesheet for that week.
