Booking time off / Annual Leave
Booking time off in WorkBee is really easy. All you need to do is head to the menu, click into Work and then click into your Time Away List.
The Time Away List shows you all your previous and upcoming periods of leave, including any cancelled leave, any pending leave (where you have requested leave but your manager has not yet approved it), and approved leave.
You would then click the Request New Time Off button to start booking your leave.

While the example above books full days off, you can also choose the half day option when booking leave if this is what you are looking for.
Annual Leave balances in WorkBee are calculated in hours, not days. Therefore, you may need to perform a simple calculation to work out how many days you have remaining. For example. 187.50 hours is the equivalent of 25 days holiday at 7.5 working hours per day. This is a typical balance for a full-time employee.
Please note that this balance does not currently include any perks such as birthday leave (if this is something your company offers)
If you are an approving manager, note that the email you receive when your employee makes a request expires after 7 days. However, this does not mean that the request has expired. After this point, you can still log into WorkBee to review and approve the request.
Have you tried the AI assistant yet?
If you want a refresher on how to book time off while inside of WorkBee, simply ask the AI assistant how to do it!
Here is an example where I have opened the AI assistant (available on the hub), typed "request time off", and it has replied with a simple description of how to complete the task, and given me a direct link to the Time Away List. Perfect!
